Membership

Pay for your Membership via PayPal

Your Des Moines Modelaires membership fee can conveniently be paid online using several payment methods via PayPal. You do not need to create a PayPal account, or permanently save your payment information online. A PayPal payment button will be displayed on the confirmation page after you submit your application. Follow the instructions to "Check out as Guest", or use your existing PayPal account if you prefer.

Current Club Members

If you are a current club Member, please log in before renewing your membership as there may be different membership rates/types for new vs. renewing members. If you forgot your username or password, click here.

Instructions

You must be a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics before joining the Des Moines Modelaires. Being registered with the FAA is highly encouraged but not required.

You MUST have a current AMA membership valid through the entire year of membership to be a Des Moines Modelaires club member. 

It is highly encouraged to be a member of the FAA and have taken and passed the TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test).   Make sure to keep a copy of the certificate number.  If you are flying an aircraft weighing more than 0.55 lbs. and are a member of the FAA, each plane\drone must have an FAA UAS registration number affixed to it.
