Club Membership Application

Existing Club Members

If you are an existing club Member, please sign in before renewing your membership as there may be different membership rates/types for new vs. renewing members. If you forgot your username or password, click here.

You must be a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics before joining the Des Moines Modelaires. Being registered with the FAA is highly encouraged but not required.

You MUST have a current AMA membership valid through the entire year of membership to be a Des Moines Modelaires club member. 

It is highly encouraged to be a member of the FAA and have taken and passed the TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test).   Make sure to keep a copy of the certificate number.  If you are flying an aircraft weighing more than 0.55 lbs. and are a member of the FAA, each plane\drone must have an FAA UAS registration number affixed to it.
